29:11 Program

29.11 logo“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans
to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and
a future.”   (Jeremiah 29:11)

The Hope House residential program, referring to Jeremiah 29:11, is a comprehensive accountability program for clients
who live on the property.

Our resident clients suffer from maladies ranging from addiction to mental or physical disabilities. The 29:11 Program prepares them to reenter society as responsible, self-sufficient citizens. They are required to undergo random drug screens, meet weekly with a licensed counselor, as well as attend life skills classes, Bible studies and other programs that will facilitate their ongoing personal development.

Their progress is monitored regularly and they are provided with spiritual and community resources to help them become independent and productive members of the community. A graduation ceremony is held at periodic intervals and they are presented with a certificate of graduation.

Clients sign a six-month contract that is renewable up to 24 months. In order to renew each contract, they are required to demonstrate progress toward goals that are mutually agreed upon by the client and his/her counselor.

They are encouraged to make tangible improvements in eight areas of their lives:

  1. Substance abuse
  2. Family/social relationships
  3. Legal status
  4. Financial status
  5. Physical health
  6. Mental health
  7. Employment/education
  8. Spiritual life
